Yeh, i sometimes dance with closed eyes. But usualy i don't becouse of the crowd in the clubs. I don't want to fall into somebody while having my eyes closed  |

The authors report the occurrence of visual hallucinations of varying complexity in 13 normal subjects after sudden, complete, and prolonged visual deprivation. The subjects were all healthy individuals with no history of cognitive dysfunction, psychosis, or ocular pathology. They wore a specially designed blindfold for a period of five consecutive days (96 hours) and were asked to record their daily experiences using a hand-held microcassette recorder. Ten (77%) of the subjects reported visual hallucinations, which were both simple (bright spots of light) and complex (faces, landscapes, ornate objects). The onset of hallucinations was generally after the first day of blindfolding. Subjects were insightful as to their unreal nature. These results indicate that rapid and complete visual deprivation is sufficient to induce visual hallucinations in normal subjects.

One persons visions are anothers hallucinations... They would never use the term "vision" in a medical journal. Gotta read between the lines...

closing my eyes is beutiful on the dancefloor I feal myself interacting with peopple on the dance floor so much I can tell when somebody is watching me and I will dance with them so muchmore, its as if I can see better with them shut, it is so clear I am only able to do it when I am with a very comfortable position on the dance floor. I used to dance like nobody was watching now I think I prefger to dance like I am connected to everybody. so this is sometimes a bit strange when encountering people who are watching especialy if they are not watching witha pure heart, I thinkis the way to explain. on the west coast here we are very undeveloped. What do you think about the id3a of getting goa gil to come put a party on here, would it atract any of you over on a holiday. Myabe some time between earthcore (last weekeend of november and newyears) not this year of course? |

I love dancing with my eyes closed, it's easier for me to "dance like no one is watching" this way. Kind of like a kid thinking that if he closes his eyes no one will see him

we all close our eyes sometimes as we dance ,especially the time we hear sounds wich maken us feell ecstatic...when closing starting to see the inside in our darkness and see our inner self more clear and more deeper because with closed eyes we became 100% our selves,and not get effected from other people who increase that to 10%maybe and the other 90% is spoiled to the others around because we see and thing for other minds around and dont let our mind and our inner self alone when the eys are opened...there is a deeper self wich we could find him more easy when we close our eyes...and specially when we dance that deeper self allows us to see visions and follow that visionary channels ,when we dont think of anything else except the music and our trip...
