when i do some things in my pc, i have a bip sound from inside the computer box
for example : when i connect to an irc server, these beeps are coming ...
[23:42] -Irc.XXX.Net- *** Looking up your hostname...
-
[23:42] -Irc.XXX.Net- *** Checking ident...
-
[23:42] -Irc.XXX.Net- *** Checking for open socks server...
each centense is followed by a bip
how can i disable that crap?!
it drives me mad

stop using mIRC and find another irc client!!
or disconnect the power cable from your pc internal speaker..

that beep comes not only when i use chat stuff....
there are more examples

this beep is some windows beep
go into sounds in control panel and play every sound there is to find a similar beep.
u can also tell mirc to stop using sounds.
what is this - Technical support forum?
