I just have to say that for me this is the best record label for electronic/world fusion.

I have all their compilations and most albums and not once have I been dissapointed. I also think they have managed very well the artwork & associated physical aspects with regards to selling products.

I am very sad that in two trips to Japan I was unable to meet with Gio or attend a Dakini gig but hope one day to see Gio at least DJ

I heard that a new Makyo album may be out this year which would be awesome, his last album was just so deep & emotional. The track "Skin As Soft As Starlight" always brings tears of beauty & also some melancholy to my eyes, I played it as part of a DJ set on a beach one day during my opening world music DJ set & the crowd were speechless as it pumped out. I even had a cop standing nearby watching us come ask where he could get a copy of it

Anyway, I hope Dakini has not died out like so many labels due to poor sales & hope much more is coming

Respect to Gio n' the rest of the crew for making such a special record label!!           I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

Makyo, Puff Dragon and Tribal Matrix series have been my favorites.

And not to forget the asian girls on the cover.

I too love Dakini. Some amazing music! What happened to Sevda? Their tunes are tasty.

Well they are still here: http://beatspacedakini.bandcamp.com/

I still need to buy a few albums from Dakini, but never seem to find the time or budget with so many other musical treats out there to buy....

Indeed it would be awesome if there was a new Makyo release, or anything else on Dakini.

In agreement with you guys, Dakini are my favourite chill-out/fusion label and I've got nearly all their CDs too.

Gio, there's still some love out there for you!

You mean this album?

I've got the 2001 reissue and there's no hidden track like on Blumencraft at -44 seconds, is there something on the first press?

Or do you mean the little Space Shuttle image in the hub area of the Digipak?

1999 first press or 2001 2nd edition? Can't see anything unusual on mine.

Prompted me to listen to it for the first time in ages, fantastic stuff anyway!
