Hello folks!
I would like to know if i can daisy chain my speakers to run under 1 amp with good result without burning the amp and without buying another amp.
At the moment im running 2, 8 ohm speakers on each amp but i would like to use one the amps for some subwoofers and run all 4 top speakers on 1 amp.
This the speakers ->
2 top @ 250 W RMS/8 Ohm
2 top @ 200 W RMS/8 Ohm
This is what the amp can deliver->
2 x 420W/4 Ohm
2 x 235W/8 Ohm
2 x 650W/2 Ohm
1x 1300W/4 Ohm bridge
stable down to 2 Ohms
As far as i know, daisy chaining 2 8 ohm speakers would put it into 4 ohms right?
So i could load the amp with 450W RMS in 4 ohms stereo at each channel?
Am i right or just out riding a bike somewhere?
Please only answer if you know what youre talking about since it could turn out to an expensive story

Ok, so you have two stereo amps and 4 monitors total?
  You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me? |

the links are no good.. but thanx for trying.. i think i solved it anyways.. 8 ohm in parallel with another 8 = 4 ohm so daisy chain works fine. But what i dont get is why the same amp that was running 2 speakers in 8 ohm, can run 4, 8 ohm speakers with the same result.
Life is good

You're right about running them in parallel, but the closest thing to "daisy chaining" would be series wiring, so make sure you understand what you're doing. Series wiring would give you a 16 ohm load and might kill your amp.

To the amp, it isn't four 8 ohm speakers, it's two 4 ohm speakers.
