1. D-Nox & Beckers - original [128 bpm]
D-Nox & Beckers need no introduction after so many hits on the biggest labels and a recent, unnerving, forward-thinking artist album published at Electribe and rightly titled “left behind,” an album which has taken the scene by surprise as the German Duo has therein fearlessly moved its style into more techy and minimal territories. The track we are dealing with belongs to the more electro-house vein which made them so famous. “Something for you mind” has all the ingredients of a monster hit: simple yet effective structure, hard pounding drum section, massive transposed and distorted bass, irresistible, hip-shaking groove, and, last but not least, a fabulous filtered vocal sample from Ralphie Dee’s “Chantal – The Realm” whose effect “on mind, body and soul” as the lyrics say, will devastate the dance floors. After the world wide success of “Switch”, there’s no doubt this new track will be played to death for the months to come, and will be hailed as another groundbreaking hit. Make sure you don’t miss it!

?2. Tolis Q & Ad.Mark rmx [127 bpm]
The Greek Duo ?Tolis Q. & Ad.Mark remix the track in a style that will suit the taste of the techno/electro heads. The voice sample is even more filtered and shredded to bits and treated with reverb fx which echo the drastically panting rhythmic section, announced by the opening synths. The break adds some more electro stabs to the last sequences. They’ve done a very nice job that firmly emancipates this new version from the strong appeal of the original.

3. Paste rmx (only digital prerelease) [132 bpm]
The Swiss duo made up of Patrick Sonderegger (aka Labaaz) and Stefan Keller (DJ Steve Active, co-founder of Kumquat) better known as Paste, with heaps of excellent releases on labels like Traktor Schallabor, Z.M.A., Plastic Park, Interzone, and Plusquam, to name but a few, take this track into more Progressive Trance territories. The rubbery fat rocking bassline works wonders too in this new edit, together with the hot percussion arrangements which run all along the track. The initial fx treatment on the Ralphie Dee song slightly differs from the German groove masters, but keeps more of the original vocals, especially in the break section. Yet another tasty cracker !
