Hey guys, I'm pretty new to sound synthesis and i've been messing around quite a bit and got a few sounds I like, only problem is that for some of them I will route an lfo to modulate the filter cutoff and ill get like a sort of 'dancing around' synth sound which I really like but the original sound is still sounding behind (i.e. as if I wasnt modulating the filter cutoff at all) anyone knows how to get rid of the initial sound from it? |

is it because the LFO amount is too low? |

Hey, thanks for the replies I will check out the melodyne for sure!
I uploaded two examples of it: http://vocaroo.com/i/s0LVwRJLrVYM
and
http://vocaroo.com/i/s16PoNxGeiTU
in both you can hear that the filter cutoff is being modulated but there is in the background a constant noise which is as if there was no modulation taking place. They were both made using Albino |

Okay so for the first sound I have a second filter added on in albino and thats what's causing the background noise but it's also what makes the sound have that distinct distortion.(I used the filter in the effects panel not filter 2)
It allows me to choose the speed of the second filter cutoff and I can synch it with the lfo of the first one but then when i change the lfo frequency the 2 filters will be out of synch, is there any way to resolve that?
On the second sound there is no second filter and no unmodulated oscillator just an FM modulated saw wave with a comb filter.. |

check your routings! there's clearly something either going to another filter or another layer going on! |

I didnt say that comb filter is wrong. I just want to say that this type of filter sweep and modulation sounds different from LP for example. So modulation has less presence on my opinion. It doesnt take that much from spectrum of original sound. Thats all

Could it be something to do with Albinos modulation matrix? |
