cutoff filter plugin to use in cubase

i've been trying to use search to find info on this but could not get much.
what would be the easiest way to make a simple cutoff filter automation in cubase sx2? are there any internal plug-ins? if no, which vst plug-in would do that?
i particulary need this to apply low-pass cutoff filter on audio tracks.

In SX 2.2 u have 3 kinds of filter:
-Q Filter
-Step Silter
-Tonic
Try to use Tonic, u can aply the low-pass filer u want!

did u go into cubase - devices - plug-in information - vst plug-ins and then check if the little checkmark is there, otherwise u will never see it...
