Anyone know how to achieve this cut-up effect?? I know theres effects like Replicant and stuff, but those effects produce quite random results and this example sounds quite intentional.

you can do it manually. drop an audio file in cubase or whatever you use, and cut.
simple. |

Effectrix is a good multi-FX where you can achieve quasi-predictable glitching FX added with others (phaser, reverb, etc.)

Ableton supports automations for it.
It also has that feature at the bottom row where you can draw in two "automations" for each row. (It behaves similar to a velocity editor in terms of how it modulates parameters in Cubase so I guess the equivalent would be a S&G LFO on it only with predetermined oscillations.) |

Just make a bunch of export iterations of the same sound and cut out the best parts you like... best of both worlds

I've gotten the best results out of livecut through bouncing and selecting certain audio files out of it, the ones that sound the least like livecut, then pitch and fx that shit and it works out real nice. For some reason I just never tried this until recently. |
