Lately been earing some trick everybody's doing :
u have voice sample or pad and u hear it chopped like te-te-de-te-te-eee , do u know how to do that?

thnx friend , i was thinking the same but it sounds so clear and really chopped , i was wondering if there's an effect for that purpose u know?

nope .. looking for 1 myself .. also , was wondering if it is better to just chop manually ? i haven't been able to do it so far .. that `flickery` gated pad thing

Me too, i feel i get much better results. Sometimes i could miss an option like "chop 4 bars of this audio in 32ths please" 
(i cut the crap, not using volume automation)

they have nice graphic gate that can be pattern programed and can be synced to host tempo. Also includes groove control and various features like randomize pattern etc. Btw... it's FREE and better than most other chop-chop gate plugs around!
Sonycbites - Gater is also nice gate (+filter, dist. & delay) and can be triggered by midi notes.
