Better than Sisoft Sandra is the Microsoft Memory Diagnostic. You get it as a small ISO from the Microsoft site which u burn as a bootable cd.
Then u can restart ur pc and the MS Mem diagnostic prog will start before windows.
I had a broken Ram stick some time ago and this prog helped me to find this problem.

Maybe i provided you not all info . Same thing accur on FRuity Loops . It is like main sequencer problem when other applications work fine . Some guys told me to check if any of VSTi cause error or maybe my ASIO driver since these are only things which connect Cubase and Fruity Loops . Since memory is one factors which connect between sequencers i would check it also .
Colin and Eyb if the memory was damaged doesn't it means that my Pc's perfomance was unstable at all applications ?
To help you find out solution to my problem , i also remember like half year ago i had strange error , blue screen with "memory dump error" . First i thought it was a virii , then read that Norton Antivirus (which i use) cause this error after reinstalling windows without Norton i had the same problem . Next i asked M-Audio technical support to check if their database have same error with two sound cards working at the same time , answer was not . Prolly i think double sound card , memory , bad VSTi or main sound card's drivers can cause such error but how do i check which is "guilty" .
Thanks if someone can help me . |

Good to hear that your problem is fixed.
If anyone wants to (properly) test the memory in their PC, have a look here:
