CUBASE undo bounce at later point

is it possible somehow to unbounce audio files in cubase, i mean something similar to offline process history
my hdd cant take it anymore need to bounce some microscopicly cut and arranged audio files but would be nice to go back and rearrange them if needed |

I guess u have a "sample overload" problem... That´s why your HD need some bounce...
When u cut a sample, Cubase do not split the file into two. It copies the sample, and just make change "start/end" position. So, if u have a large amount of tiny pieces, it´s possible that u are running kind of large sample, many many times. So your hd is overloaded.
I had this problem once. And my solution was exporting smaller pieces of the sample, and then arrange/cut them. Here it saved a lot of cpu.
Btw, can´t u just cut the bounce file again if needed?? And then re-bounce it again?

What i do sometimes with audio files that i cut up alot
Just bounce it again into one file, so you dont have parts but just one long bounce of the seq or vocal or whatever
