I got this annoying problem in one of my projects: When i make tempo automation, then audio tracks are good, and does what they are supposed to, but midi tracks does not follow musical time mode. In other of my projects it works perfectly, but i think this one was created shortly after a cubase reinstall, and before i got to set the time mode to musical in cubase preferences.

So on audio channels i can switch between musical time mode, and the other one. But on midi tracks i dont see this option. So the question is how i get the midi tracks working with tempo automation ?           myspace.com/auralinvasion

i think you have to record your midi lead, that you got the lead as audio, this is how i would solve it.

Hi Orgytime

Thanks for you advise, but i know it can work fine with midi, is there not a setting somewhere that can make all midi tracks work with tempo track?           myspace.com/auralinvasion

Musical mode is audio warp feature, which means u cant use it on midi.. Midi should follow the tempo track if its set up right..
Have u done your homework?
Operation manual - Working with tempo track pg.613 and Audio warp realtime processing pg. 419           http://www.myspace.com/djacidkills

i did look in the manual yes, but i did not find the answer to this problem.

If you know the answer, i would appreciate it? because i did not change any midi settings in any other project to make it follow tempo track.           myspace.com/auralinvasion

Maybe u blew something after reinstall in that project if other projects follow tempo track normally.. Than u will have to either export in audio and warp it or if u really need it to be in midi u can try copy project into new folder.. It should work if it works in other projects..           http://www.myspace.com/djacidkills
