I just got sx3 installed everything worked fine had reason rewired so it did work. then I tried to hook up my friends mi4 soundcard. after headaches I got it to work but hey when I try to start reason it just gives me the spinning pinwheel thing eternally then when I force quit and go to close cubase it says it cant close because reason is open. so I force quit that. Reason works fine on its own so thats why I think its a cubase thing I tried putting the cubase disk in again and running the installer over no success. I tried to open reason first then cubase but it says cant use reason. Im stumped Id reinstall reason but I dont have the disks here now.(that shouldnt matter though since it works fine on its own right?) Im tryin to get this song mixed down for tomorrow. so any help would be great.
Thanks

I do that. I only tried it the other way after these problems developed just to make sure I didnt have it wrong. But when I try it the way you said, is when it does the spinning pinwheel thing and gives me the shutdown problems along with the other problems
the same thing happened on my friends pc when we first installed his soundcard what this means im not sure
thanks

ok uninstal all of them. use system emchanic or norton to "clean the registry" better still reinstall windows osx whatever. You can do this without losing files by seleting repair windows rather than wipe the whole disk thisjust writes over the programmes.
then install cubase sx again, then install reason. usually best to instal reason second. |
