i tried searching the forum but didn't come up w anything relevant..my prob is i'm trying to record automation on Vanguard..i activate the W(rite) button...press record tweak d envelope..then stop recording..but when i activate R(ead) on the synth & press play the automation does not play back...i tried looking at d manual as well...can anyone explain to me wt i'm doin wrong? thanks

Does this work for other VSTis?
Make sure you activated the right Vanguard channel. Theres a channel for the VST itself and once for its automation lane. To be safe, just click Write on everything. Also, right click on the Vanguard channel and do "show used automation". See if it shows a channel for your Envelope. |

i clicked write on everything..when i right click "show used automation" i just get the regular volume, pan, etc..
can this be actually done? am i supposed to select some track parameter/send/insert on the vst channel? i'm lost!!

You need to click the Write button in your sequencer for the midi channel where you selected Vanguard as its output and you need to select it on the vanguard screen itself, then just press record, twiddle your knobs .. untill satisfied, then press stop and activate the read button on both, then press play to see your autamation in action. Worx like a charm here this way

how do you tweak it, by using your midi controller or by tweaking the knobs with the mouse?
