i dont know why, but after about 2-3 minutes of playing, monitors just go silent.

my software mixer window doesnt respond and the only way to fix this is by restarting the computer. this really sucks. has this happend to anyone?

in cubase it all looks ok... the channels keep showing the levels changing and everything works... its the soundcard that get "Jammed" by cubase it seems......
what the hell should i be doing?           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

it happens to me sometimes, and it's usualy associated with a cracked version of a VST.. probably the last one you've opened before the problem started.

i hope it comes down to something simple as this..           http://www.bhooteshwara-records.com

Do you use an USB or firewire soundcard ? I heard about this kind of problem from a friend who uses the Audiophile 24/96.

tsk...tsk...tsk...

Well, that's the 3rd time i heard about people having problems with an m-audio card on a wire. A good start for finding a solution might be to check the properties of your firewire interface in your bios (if there are any properties you can change that is...).

Hope you fix it.

Similar things have happened with me as well Gadi.. And I too have a FW 410... Most of the time it works. Sometimes the issue comes and goes. I haven't really found a solution to it either... And tech support isn't very helpful...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

dammit Revrend! and damn the man who made me and you buy this card, we both know who that is! Samy G. hehehehe.
this card is so good most of the time - maybe it is a plugin problem. but i see no reason for that.          "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

I find that if you put the card on "restriction" (not using it for a bit) it tends to act right later on.

Bohdisattva 13:20 made me buy the card, but I still really do like it.           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

hy there
i had the same problem with a rme fireface soundcard , so i don t know if the m audio soundcard is to blame.
anyway, the new drivers fixed the problem, but to all of u that cant fix this , instead of restarting the pc or cubase just go to the asio panel in cubase and clik the reset driver option and it will work again (worked with me)

That problem is caused by a cracked CubaseSX not a VST... Go buy Cubase like other people!           www.iono-music.com
