heya, i'm working with cubase sx for 1 month now (i'm new)..
this week i got from a friend the program reaktor 4 and it has lots of cool effects and synths and stuff, anyway how do i use the reaktor plugs in cubase ?

i make a new midi channel in cubase and insert the reaktor VST, and then it opens me a window from reaktor, i add the synth i want and its not playing in cubase..

anyone understand me ? ;< if so please help.
btw! when i run reaktor alone i can put effects on my microphone and all and it works great.. cant make it work with cubase..

check whether you are receiving midi-information on the correct midi-channel in Reaktor (in the box directly on the left from the next to the name of the patch) if that channel corresponds to the midi channel your midi track is sending info on you should be fine.

Well I tried ´all midi inputs´ and also putting the specific one... but you still cannot neither input (by recording), and there is no output either...

try selecting a preset they already have, maybe youre on the "clean" setting with no sound whatsoever, also try to set the midi output on omni/any.

tutorials are always appreciated... But...

man, if only I can get ANY sound to come off synths imported from reaktor into cubase.. then I learn the rest by myself...

Do you hear anything in standalone mode?
You need to setup audio output and midi input when in standalone.

I had a comparable problem whereby i saw audio output on the Reaktor window, but no output on the Cubase mixer. I solved it by upgrading to the latest version of Cubase SX, removing Reaktor from my harddrive and re-installing the latest version of Reaktor. Now it works like a charm.

Maybe this helps ?
