Hey dudes!

I came across this "bug", and can´t seem to know how to fix it.

When I export any loop to wav(to any quality), the resulting loop is little bit longer than it should be(if u zoom in at max u can see the tail). So for every exported loop I need to be very careful to cut this tail, so I can be able to "duplicate" without losing sync.

I tried to cut the tail, and then bounce it again(so I can have the wav loop right cutted).... But for my surprise again an error!!! The bounced loop is little bit smaller now(the same amount as above)!

So all I can do is to make the loop smaller only by dragging the end or make a new box and place the loop inside. And I also needed to re-make many of my loops using recycle, just to be sure they are all tempo matched.

Does anyone have this issue also????

For the info: I use a HP Laptop + M Audio 410. And it has the problem. I tried at my internet PC(onboard soundcard) and the export was fine! I tried again at a friend´s studio(wich uses Cubase SX + M Audio 44) and the problem appear again!!!!

I have the latest M-Audio driver.

Thanks!           LOADING...

in sx3 i also found a bug. when i bounce lets say 4 bars of kicks, check the lenght, see it ok, and then copy fast to fill in lets say 200 bars, at one point its out of sync, then when i zoom in i see that the original audio has become a tiny bit longer while the numbers in this number lane show its 4 bars.

so yeah its a bug and i dont think its connected to your soundcard,
not a big deal to put everything straight but good to know. when i copy a lot i always check in the second half aprt what happened by zooming in on beginnings and ends.

That´s it vipal! Normally u get this after too much duplicate....

Interesting that nobody ever noticed, or talked about. Indeed it´s easy to fix(just be sure to make the loop 1 beat smaller, than go back to the original length), but it´s some very nasty bug imho... Maybe it´s my 'unsupported ' version, but if it still hapens with supported one, so I can say it´s very disapointing...           LOADING...

I get that too, but only when I bounce parts from my Virus Ti..

After 3 minutes of happily duplicating parts everything goes out of sync, irritating bug, it's made me zoom in to every bounce to check it's not going to break my song later and disrupt my flow reordering everything.

This simply isn´t a problem if you unvoid the duplicate or repeat function and simply use the arrow tool and copy and paste. If you do this manually it doesent matter if the audio event is a bit longer than the loop...

Or course.. that just snaps it to the nearest quantise point.

But it's still a bug, and I'm a shortcut fiend

Having Ctrl+D taken away from me is like losing an arm.

Hahaha

Stop using a essential feature is a step back imho. I can´t see any way of Logic´s users quiting the "loop" function"...

Btw, it´s easy to handle. For EVERY bounced/exported track check the tail with the max zoom. Then just drag the sample 1 beat smaller, than back again to orignal(be sure to use SNAP on, Beat quantize). Now u can Duplictae/Repeat as u wish!           LOADING...

i dont think so, even with this file, fast copy a lot and it goes out of sync.
yes.. better use copy and paste. goodbye to ´ctrl d´ in sx3. by the way..happens also in my supported version of sx3.
