no way or i´ve never found that option...

you can record your midi in real time without quantization, and then bounce yout vst connected with this midichannel, but i think it´s impossibel to connect a vst to an audio channel to record it in real time...           www.myspace.com/antagonmedia

You have to check if your soundcard allows the recording of vst's to audio.I have a RME HDSP 9632 and it has this feature. My previous soundcard didn't,I had to bounce it down to audio .

my method works without any problems. dunno if you want to reinvent the wheel ...

ableton live has got an instant resample function. tapeit2 does a perfect job in cubase... no need for any special soundcard functions even though that might be handy.           soundcloud.com/epsylohm
