Cubase SX project loading problem...

I was to load my new SX project earlier, and it took me 10(!) minutes... I checked the size of the .cpr file, which was 8mb, (8192kb, which seems a bit suspicious) and even though the file size is rather excessive, it shouldn't require a loading time like that...
Suggestions anyone ?

my system:

amd athlon xp 2200+
512 mb ram (333mhz)
win xp
wd 80gb hdd w/8mb cache

cubase sx v.1.01

Never mind... I've been enlightened.
So if anyone else shall have this problem, here's your solution...

sounds like your cpr file is corrupted, or the automation in your track is so intense, that its taking forever to load

Yes, it was... It was the midi echo effect that did it... Somehow when you use some of the midi effects, a lot of 'crap' is saved in the .cpr file and thus it becomes absurdly large and takes forever to load... So I removed the effect, and now I'm down to 511KB
