Hello.
How can I control a Track's Parameter (for example.. the Second Oscillator's Frequency of a VST) using a MIDI Track? I cannot find the way to output the signal of the MIDI Track to a particular parameter of another Track.
Thanks. |

activate write automation (w) on the miditrack. tweak the parameter you want to control in the vst by mouse while recording it. in the automationtrack of the midi you can then see what you did and change it according to your taste.
also:
if you doubleklick the miditrack you can see on the left under the pianoroll by clicking on the triangle which parameter is automated (has a *).

thank you for you reply.
i'm afraid you didn't understand what i meant, or your tips were not clear enough.
I have a MIDI Track and a VST Instrument. The VST Instrument has tweakable parameters (for example, the frequency of the LP Filter). How can i output the automation from the MIDI Track to that particular Tweakable Parameter of the VST? |
