How can I use VST effect as insert effect?
I can only see native Cubase SX insert effects.

Maybe you're trying to apply effects on a midi chan?
Try to switch channels.

I am, i try to control Midi channel with VST effect, which is designed to control a Midi channel.
It's called MidiGate VST
