Does cubase have a built in dither when you import and export files with wrong bitrate?if my project is set to 24 bit and i use a plug in
to dither down to 16 bit how should i export the file?16 or 24 bit?(maybe with 16 bit it ll dither down a second time?)

If I´m not mistaken Cubase has a native dither. It´s the UV22 type. I don´t know if it´s the better dither for trance sounds...

Btw, u only need dither when going from higher to lower bits, like 24 to 16, 16 to 8.

So, if u have 16 and 24 bits files, better is making the tune at 24 bits, export all the song, and then dither the track to 16 if u need an audio CD.           LOADING...
