I meant One should not use Asio4All with a Decent Sound Device.

ASIO4ALL will let you get better performance out of your on-board sound device than the default MME Device Drivers or plain old DirectX. However don't expect it to be stable at really low latencies.

I am not gonna mess with something thats gonna fuck me about.

i spend precious little time in the 'Studio' as it is.

Also keep my PC at its optimum ....ALWAYS.

Its like you car....keep it in good nick....and don;t put off fixing or tuning it up.

It'll only fuck you about if you try and use it for purposes it wasn't designed for, eg. use with a Tascam audio interface for which you already have proper ASIO drivers.

Like you said, it's like your car. It's fine for doing the shopping but you wouldn't want to run a F1 race in it - no matter how finely tuned it was.

I have been in the IT game for a LONNG time....and only the day did i create myself a new profile just for producing.

My original profile has all me other shit on it.

So my reccomendation is first make sure you PC is in a state to run as your studio with no other shit messing it about.

If you have a decent PC.....it really runs like a dream.

I recon thats why i have not needed to try and get more outta my lappy.

But i will check it out....if it can run even better....HEY!!!!!!!!!
