Also seems like with this version release their is a substantial difference between SX3 and Nuendo3 now.
Didn't really know of any before this version... |

Well the guys on Steinberg again made half of the job. I can't beleive it, they have all the know how and still they are fulling around with something so important as the so called "Realtime Audio Warp Function".
Of course it's a big improvement that they finally included such a function, but i really question it's overall functionality since AGAIN there is no realtime preview of the loops when the project is playing back. :-(
A big dissapointment once again on this matter. But hope never dies............. |

Hm, doesn't this depend on how you configure cubase for use with your soundcard (realtime monitoring)? |

Features like single-channel latency control, a dynamic matrix editor, and of course the insanely powerful mixer have existed in Logic since... forever. Logic's mixer in 5.xx is probably still more powerful than that of cubase, and definately built in a way that's easier to adjust.

In the arrange - you get this nice thing, latency control for each channel and for each bus, and considering that a bus channel in logic can act as both a send and a group... Not on aux channels, but then again, cubase doesn't even have those
There is no auto-adjust for this, which is a shame though (at least, not that I know of), but you didn't strike me as that lazy Colin

Nice one Colin.
And then you have Sonar with full automatic PDC on all channels and buses since 2000. They introduced PDC on channels in 97!!! and the buses work as aux sends too. So Logic is 7 years late allready.
Moral of the story? Each sequencer has advantages and disadvantages.
