Hello, we are 2 guys from Denmark there want to make some progressive/ psy-trance.
Anyone there can help us getting started? we are trying all the time, we just need a little "push" - or if there is someone there have a bass/drum/melodi made in cubase there not is being used more, then can you send it to us and then can we try play with it .. sorry my english is bad, so it maybe sounds wierd.
but we very wanna getting started, just need some help.. need something to look at .. see how its set up!

hi zimonb,
there is so much to learn in terms of technique and sound design until you get even half-decent results. It takes time, patience...and a lot of it
some say it's better to start with a more "user friendly" host-sequencer like FruityLoops. once you understand the basics of MIDI, sequencing and synthesis then u might wanna upgrade to Cubase.
if you're serious about making music get a good pair of monitors and soundcard.
start collecting samples like kicks,hats,snares,percussion, etc... and start reading the sticky posts here. there's plenty of reading material there that should get u started.
people don't really share Cubase example songs here. the idea is that you need to go through the learning curve yourself just like everyone else but if you look hard and search the forum you'll find heaps of other helpful information like tutorials,synth patches and more.
start experimenting and feels free to post more specific questions here as you go along
