hey!
usually when i run cubase sx 2.0, it crashes and freezes the pc, if dont mess much around with cubase sx2.0 it doesnt crash, if i do it crashes.
the crash happens because cubase starts eating all memory, and windows has to enlarge the pagefile, alot of disk writing and so *p0of*..
anyone experienced something similar?

i usually have the pagefile in fixed size, and i tried diferent sizes.. even 768min 1024max.. i tried letting windows control it, same happens.. the only thing missing is trying not to have pagefile hehe
but this most be a cubase prob with windows 2003..
i have to try out installing winxp..
anyway steinberg should pay more attention to this kind of stuff, if indeed is a cubase / windows 2003 prob.. eheh
take care |

ahh sorry mike a!!
you said to use fixed pagefile size, like min1024 and max also 1024..
i thought you meant to manually choose the values
ok i'll try that.. hehe
still it's weird that cubase starts eating memory..
thx for the site fluosamsara |
