hey!
i use halion on cubase sx for the kicks and the bassline, 1 halion for each (hehe maybe not the best.. anyway..) the thing is that the kick is not reproduced everytime equal..
like X...X...X...X...X...X... in this 6 beats, the kick changed his sound almost in every beat..
i'd like to know if anyone experienced this kind of problem.. the problem is in halion or cubase sx.. since in reason i can play this bass & kick over and over.. and it's reproduced always equally..
plur! |

Turn on drummode in the mod screen (for that sample). Also make sure the entire length of the sample is looped.

my tip?
dont use halion!
kontakt & battery play kicks better.
but try not to use sampler at all for your kick.
just throw it on mono channle in sx and edit it..

billy - for those who started using halion (me) it's very very hard to move to a different type of sampler. No matter how good it is. Halion is my baby and I'm never leaving it
Especially when you know how to use it.

If you know how to use it than its other thing...
but, If you got problems to work it - than I suggest to switch to a friendlyer samplers like Kontakt or Battery..

I have another problem with Cubase: I write a midi line in the edit view, I push play and it sounds but when the line ends, it keeps sounding!! Is the same sound (from the synth or the sampler) but its reading something i didn´t write!! Then, I push Stop button and the sound ends. And I don´t know why. Could somebody help me?
Thanx!! |

You mean the sound continues after the note is over?
Turn down the release then
