For some reasons, my Cubase canīt save one of my projects to another folder... Actually, only one of my projects. When I try to save it, it does seems to copy the files, but after itīs done, nothing happened. Thereīre no audio files at the new folder(not even the folders like audio, edit).
Does anyone has a clue about this?
One thing is that my Hard Disk performance at this track is overloaded(red sign on all the way). Donīt know if this is a problem...
Also I removed the unused files from pool, and I got a error message, saying that some files could not be erased. But then, no more unused files at the pool(so I guess the files were ereased).
?????

Are you trying to just move the project from one HD to another? I just copy the entire project folder to the new place in Windows, then open the moved project file and let it reorient itself in the new location, and save it. Never had any problems with that method. You might have to tell it where some samples are if the drive letter changes, but once you do that and saves it remembers the new location.
I've never had any problems with this method, I always do it this way to make sure I have all my project files on my desktop HD and backed up on my portable HD.
If you hard disk usage light is in the red... that's bad. That doesn't usually happen unless you have insane amounts of long audio tracks playing simultaneously. Do a disk check and defrag of that drive first thing.

Thatīs the thing. Itīs a full vocal sample that I copied a lot of time(for several fx, cutting, double voice..). And itīs a very long one(like 32 bars). I guess I need to export all the little parts(wich now is a long file but cutted)...
Maybe thatīs why CUbase canīt Save it to another folder... And I like to do it, cause it saves a lot of space. If u copy the entire folder, u will copy also unused files. Here, the orignal folder has something like 1,5 Gb, while the "backup" one(using save to new folder) has usually 250 Mb.
Thanks for the asnwer!

Yeah, I sympathize with wanting to save space. I assume it's the "unlimited undo" aspect of SX that makes that edit folder get so huge.
There have been times that I've made a copy and then manually deleted some of the big, older edit files that I know I'm not going to need. But it's hard to judge sometimes, that can be a kind of dangerous experiment I only do with a copy of the folder.
It would be cool if there was some "Forfeit Undo/Minimize Project Size" command or something that cleaned out the old stuff.

There is... Click delete unused audio files and minimize audio files and that should work it out for you...
