hello everybody, in cubase i export a song in wav format in an audio patern, i would like to put in a second patern a wav sample and activate this sample with my midi controller in the same time the song is playing ...
i'm sure it's possible but a friend tell me that i can do it just with the .mid format and no .wav, is it true?

Hi go@lex.
Let me see if i understood. You did a midi patern and after this you exported this patern to wave file. After this you want copy this wave file to de side of the original wave file, and now change the midi controler. Is it?
If this is the problem, you will can change this wave track do it only a plugin automation. The original insrument it´s impossible now.

Nope, I think it is made on hardware level, though MIDI interface are completely different from AUDIO one. However, see your sound card configurations.

there is MIDI
and there is AUDIO
2 different worlds - like israel and palastine ...
don't try to mix them-
or it'll explode !!!

alex... there's this thingie, 2 play samples with midi, ah ... like sample... player..
or do u mean a SAMPLER ?!?!?!
there's hunreds of them.
it's like "i'd like to drive a skrew .... is there a thingie to do this ?"

try battery or contact when u are
