Not sure what is the problem with this project, cubase 5.
The audio is out of tempo/place and i cannot move it into tempo by moving it manually or by pressing Q. I tried quite a few things such as disabling snap change grid types and so on. Nothing changed
Is this a bug?
I use windows 7 ultimate 32bits

is it set to bars? or seconds or frames?

cubase 3 sometimes doesnt align well either..

It should really be able to put them back in line if you drag them. Maybe check the forum on steinberg.net.           soundcloud.com/supergroover

Found the issue...
So in the audio file there is a vertical grid which has an S and that has to go right till the beginning of the audio file... This vertical grid is no the ones that delimitate the entire file though... Bastard bug...           Visit me

Not a bug. That line with the S is the Snap Point, marks the point in the audio file that Cubase will align with the beat when you quantise. This means you can quantise audio so that any given point in it is aligned with the beat, not just the beginning of the audio file. You must have moved it by mistake... it's actually a really really useful function.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

If the audio event doesn't begin on grid point, I think the Snap Point automatically gets put on the first grid point in the audio file when you bounce. This is to help you when you want to move the audio file around in the arrangement - it will always be quantised the same way it was when you created it by bouncing. A lot of the audio files in the pic you posted don't start on a grid point, so I'm guessing this is why you're getting this issue.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering
