Cubase - protect device?

I recently installed cubase sx 3, but I couldn't open it because it says I need to plug in the connection device. I've never heared of such thing before... Is there a way to go around it? and what is this device anyway?... Anyone else has this poblem?

well, the classic way around this is by looking for the crack  He means the usb dongle... If it's an official version, there should be something in the box that resembles a memory stick... that's the 'key' u need to start op cubase |
