Hi there,

does anyone of u know how i can change the way Cubase ( SX3 ) reads out if a certain VST is an Effect or a Synth or whatever?
I have Synts which are interpreted as Effects and they only show up in the Insert drop down menu, not in the VST instruments Menu. When i go to the PlugIn Informations , they are listed as effects - but they are Synths...

( Im talking bout Creamware XTC stuff, but it seems that it is a cubase fault.... )

Best

FG445 go and check out this forum for Creamware cards

http://www.planetz.com/forums/

there is a tip in there that shows you how to copy some files across so that the XTC instruments appear in Cubase...sorry I can't be more specific but I had the same problem ages ago
