I work with cubase SX and my Roland 505,
The recording is cool but I decided to add
sounds from FL because of my large samples
collection and the ability to create loops!

Problem:

The loops don't match the recorded rythem!!!
How can I create the same loop in cubase?

P.s

Both of them are set to 142 BPM so this is
not the problem!

The kick is not matching the Bass line, I tried
to match them but I am sure there is an
easier way to match them!

it's often hard for the computer to match midi with audio (sync) with perfection. I never tried Poobase to do that - but I'm sure it can manage.

btw, low latency soundcards are more accurate in this situation.

if you're talkin about that flp is set to 142 and the mc set to 142 - and when they play together it sounds good for a period of time and then they start to be not beat-matched.... that's another thing - something to do with sequencers and all that shit.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

just export your loop in FL into a wav file and import it to cubase. it's gotta work.

Thats what I am doing!!!
I export wav files from flp and then I import
them in the cubase, but the problem is that
when I import them, they don't match my
audio recorded channels!

I can move the imported waves a little bit
to the left or to the right but it's not working
because the imported Kick bass don't match
my recorded bass line (from MC-505)!!!

P.s

My sound card is "Creative SB Live 5.1 Dig"

try resetting the BPM using Acid's BPM stretch. just dont forget to put the levels on back to normal.

It doesn't match with the starting points but run at 142bpm exactly? Or does one run at 142 and the other at 142.1 and that's why they don't match ?

Check out yo "audio settings" ASIO, Latency in Cubase ,if yo workin' with CreativeSB yo need some good driver for specific OS and ASIO for Cubase.
If yo surf the net and have some games installed when u make music - it will never work as u want.
To get low latency for midi/audio - disable the shit out of yo windoze , better install "phresh" windoze with good driverz for yo hardwarez.
EZ

Peace.

the problem u r describing is very bizzare... i am preety sure that both loops are in the same bpm and the problem is in the cue point.
try to move one of the loops by miliseconds. to do that should click the arrow in the bottom left of the arrange window and then to change the delay parameter of the selected channel.
but again, this is VERY strange...

Modulization, your tempo mismatch looks like sample rate mismatch.
if u e.g. run cubase in 16bit 48000 hz, and flp in 16 44100 hz, then you will hear all the samples in Cubase in a lowered pitch. if this sample is more than 1 beat length, you'll get your tempo mismatch.

anyhow: make sure your sample rate of the samples is equal in both cubase & flp.

In flp I export the files in 44100 so I need
to work with the same sample rate in Cubase!
That sucks...!

I am buying Delta44 and NordLead 1, will
this solve my problem and I will be able to
export flp samples with 48,000 Hz rate?           Just listen...

1st of all u need to work in at least 96000/24 in order to record your nord lead in decent form.
2nd, u will be able to do this with Delta 44. when u have the card, read the manual really good.
3rd fruity loops: i don't know FL limits, so maybe 48000 is the best it can do, maybe not.
when u have your synth - u don't need FL - u can use the Cubase as your main environment.
4th: Midiman is a name of company (merged with M-Audio) what do u mean ?
