I did not read much about people using the PLAY ORDER option in cubase, Its a great tool that gives you excellent ways of creating new beats and patterns.
I was just wondering if someone does, if not, you should look into it, it will expand your production options.

I used it for different arrangements but I don't understand how to create new beats and patterns with that - What did you mean exactly?

i just love it.... its a great tool indeed. i usually use it when i have a few different parts wirtten down and i`m not sure about the track structure... i just jiggle those parts around and find the best order that works for me.... its just great.
i guess ppl just dont know it`s there and that`s why they dont use it.

it works like this:
You make lets say 16 bars, 32 bars or whatever u like of arrangement. Then you can make this section become a "Pattern", then when you have made some sections/patterns, you can use a pattern sequencer playing the patterns you made, and quickly rearrange their order, and amount of times played each before proceding in the arrangement.
Dunno if it made sense, otherwise have a look at www.steinberg.net
I think its a good tool for some. Personally i don't use it.
