hey,

i have a problem, when opening any midi editor in C5, everything else gets muted.

i do not find that option in the menue, but i can remember, this didnt happen 1 month ago >.<

There's a button marked 'S' top left of the Key Editor. It's probably blue (turned on) - turn it off. It solos the editor.
