So I imported a midi file into my track and it is about three times to slow. Is there some sort of timestreach to keep everything the same but it will fit into smaller locators? Hope this makes sense, any help would be great. Thanks           http://soundcloud.com/chemical-reaction

Try to drag the midi box using other tool function like Time strecht.

Btw, I used to have this issue, and in that time, I adjusted note by note...

I tried to drag the Midi box and it only make the box smaller not the Midi part. I could adjust note for note but that seems very painful, I want the computer to do the work for me.           http://soundcloud.com/chemical-reaction

When you import a MIDI part into SX, the whole arrangement takes on the tempo that the part was originally saved with. If you're using a 'fixed' tempo you'll want to remember what it's set to before you import the MIDI part, and re-set it to this afterwards. If you're using the tempo track, all you should have to do is activate it again.

If this isn't the problem, then yeah, stretch it...           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

Just to make myself clear:

The "arrow" tool has 3 differents options of work:

1)The drag will only make the box smaller... there´re no changes inside the box.

2)The drag as Time Strech.

3)The drag that "locks" the sample/midi events inside the box... in other words, u will drag the box, and the event inside will be dragged also, but no time strech or other modulation.

To achieve these functions only press "1" on the keybord to change the arrow function...           LOADING...

i may be wrong, but if you turn the master on, on the transport bar, and edit the tempo track?
