What is the difference people?

I'm buying a Presonus Firebox soon and it comes with a copy of Cubase LE. Is that enough for a decent production set up or should I upgrade to Cubase 4 SX? There is also Cubase Studio, which is few hundred dollars cheaper, will that be sufficient or nether Studio nor LE are good enough for making serious music and I should go all out and get Cubase 4 SX?

Thank you!

1. i'm working on cubase4.

2. i've never worked on LE, but i think it would be more than proper to begin with. i mean you won't miss anything that don't know it should be there
when time comes to upgrade to 4, you'll just know.

3. cubase studio is cubase 4 for mac.           extreme

Thanks guys, LE sounds good, shame it has no sidechaining that SX does??
I've been using SX3 and 2 pirated copies for a while but want to go legal now but no money for SX4 just yet, hopefully LE will be enough for 6 months at least           -------------- Dark & Twisted Night Psy --------------

Actually Cubase Essential does not support external instruments??? Does that mean I cannot plug in Virus TI into it?? That would suck!           -------------- Dark & Twisted Night Psy --------------

Not really, it's just a cut down version of Cubase 4.

Well since the TI works just like a regular vsti plugin it would probably work.
