you have it in the Documentation for a deep reading, but basically:
choose the sf with external program [audioHQ if u use creative drivers or soundfont manager if u use EMU drivers]
then in cubase choose the midi channel, and it's output direct into synth A or B of the blaster.
this way the output is midi.
andother way: get Audiosynth/Halion VSTi and use it, this way it's audio
