At the moment i've got loads of VSTs running in my piece and so now the CPU is sky high and starting to glitch. Is there a way i can bounce all the midi tracks down quickly into seperate audio tracks without having to do one by one? thanks

no. You l have to go one by one. Begin with the most "cpu eaters" first, usually are lead synths with built in effects such reverbs, etc...           Ess765 (aka Physical Absence)

I think you mean MEAP, but yes. It costs about £20; the link I gave is to the website of the guy who made it. Well worth the money.

Please buy it rather than downloading it; the user support the developer gives is out of this world (he implemented an idea of mine within 2 days) but he's being disheartened by the amount of people using it who haven't paid.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

another possibility is tapeit 2... multitrack bounce in realtime is the way I do it. the good thing is, you can insert it everywhere, pre fx or on the last slot, or maybe on group tracks...           soundcloud.com/epsylohm

That's a really good idea I can see it coming unstuck though when multitrack bouncing a tune with high CPU/HDD usage.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

There is no such thing as a "powerful enough computer" where music production is concerned           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

What planet have you been living on Get-a-fix?

http://www.rainrecording.com/1-877-MIX-RAIN/store/product.php?productid=16242&cat=275&page=1

You can get a quad core cpu now for about 700€ (Portugal)

If your pc starts to click, try increasing your audio latency a bit.. It usually works with slow cpu's...

I got a:

It hasn't gave me ANY problems yet...

Well i use notebooks & always check for specs for them..Have they come out with quad core processors for notebooks yet?

Anyway that's a shitload of money just for a cpu, i'd rather wait until prices go down..Besides, we'll have to wait until software is specifically designed to make use of the quad processors, for now they'll give the same performance as a dual core..
