I use PC with I3 processor and 4 gb ram. All my old tracks were on dual core 3 gb ram. The mix were running smothly on dual core. On i3 when i open the same projects cubase hangs.

it shows processor being full.

i did all the tweaks on windows 7. It helps a little bit but doesnt solve the problem.

Im using cubase 5. Is it problem with cubase or my computer?

i also figured it out just now... when i try to repair cubase from control pannel, it doesnt work.

guess i have to reinstall cubase again.

I hate installing cubase... it takes so long to make all the set ups again.

buying cubase wont help i am afraid. and a reinstall also not. you probably have plugs that work fine in xp but give problems in win7. do like suloo says and dont use and/or uninstall the one or ones that make the cpu go crazy.
