cubase halp please

hi everyone
i just upgrade my musical system
i think its good one and i steel havin problems with cubase
the sound is gumping and when i us mor then 8 vsts the prog crash and restart
my hardwear:
amd althon 64 3000
msi k8n neo platinum 250g raid nforce3
gf fx5200 128mb agp\dvi
1g of ram \ddr400
delta 2496
please halp im going crazy
maybe something with my congigoration

maybe too fast latency settings, in fact there can be countless reasons for it.
what cubase do you use, and if its not a legal version, maybe bad cracking could be the tourning point?

but i know its working ok

If your pc shuts down and restarts then it should be due to cpu overheating.If that's the thing then you should get some of that anti-heating cpu gell and apply it between the processor and its heat sink,worked for me
when i had a similar problem.

the problem its not the cpu its new one and i conected acooling devices and everithing
the problem its the sound ist gumping and the prog crash
