Hello!
I have a big problem with my cubase, or i dont know maybe its not a problem, its just a setting?
I have noticed that if I play a sample with Groove Agent (or any other sampler) it does not sound as the original sample.
Here is a screenshot of a project playing the same sample.
On the left Span it is played with an audio track, and on the right Span its imported in Groove Agent One. As you can see on the screenshot, the frequency range of the sample in Groove Agent is lower than the one in the audio track (6kHz or 8 kHz). It also sounds different.
Is this normal or a setting? What can i do to have my sampler playing the sample exactly as the audio track does?
I also tried Kontakt but it sounds completely worse with Kontakt.
I just reinstalled my windows, installed cubase fresh, but still the same. I m so desperate now!
Thanx for any help! |

Increase the level of groove agent excatly as well as the level of the audio...
Maybe its too simple... But maybe its it... |

Haha, sadly no. That was the first thing i have tried. ^^ Only the volume gets increased but this does not have any influence on the frequency range.

Well the groove agent has a lot of filter settings and such, you can change it individually for each sample. I bet the key you are playing has a set of modulations and EQ that differentiates it. |

I dont get it why, but i think its all okay. Its just the volume.
BUT before i posted my problem here, the first thing i did was adding some volume. But it changed nothing on the frequency.
Now 2 days later after many testing, i arrive at the result, that its all okay.
I even rebuilt the bass-sample that i used on the screenshot above, and guess what: Its fine, even the frequency.
Thanks for your answers! Problem solved
