Cubase Generic Remote question

I got a problem i think, i tried to use the generic remote control, so far it nly has worked with discovery, but synths like scorpion or v-station don´t seem to work or allow control via the generic remote settings.
My evolution (mk-249c2) controller doesn´´t allow settings storage, only once, it has no memories so the only way to me is to do it via cubase. So im not sure where´s the mistake here. |

Can u explain better how are u trying to do it?
Cause I have the same controller, running Cubase Sx 3, and I can controll "Scorpion" via Generic Remote function.
The only vst´s I really can´t controll via GEneric Remote are the Spectrasonics´s ones! Seems to be impossible to controll them by a keybord.

if the vsti don't themselves react on midi controller commands but if they are controllable using automation in the lanes, i recall that there is a possibility to "bend" midi controllers to automation change which might affect the vsti then?
sorry i can't provide more info as i don't do it that way, but search or ask, i recall something like this, and i hopefully explained myself halfway understandable

SMS i do it the say way, in the upper wondow is for the midi controller settings and the upper for the vsti, the prblem is that i was able to do the mapping for discovery with succes but i tried to do the same process fro other synths and it wasnt possible.
Could you share the .xml fiel of the scorpion mapping, sicne we have the same controller? |

Well MindFilter, actually I don´t use Scorpion a lot... Ive just tried to controll this vst for this topic. And it worked for me... Maybe u are losing some points...
That´s how I make to control the FIlter CUtoff for example:
1)Check the "input"(should be USB port if u use usb conection for keybord) and "output"(Scorpion).
2)At "controller" box: Rename the "Fader 1" to "Cutoff". Keep turning one of the knobs, and press Learn(u will see the "address" should change to actual knob number.
3) At "vst" box: choose Sorpion on Device. Choose device on Chanell/Category. And finally choose filter cut on Value/Action.
Press OK.
Now just open Scorpion, turn the knob u assigned, and I hope u will see cutoof frequency changing.
