I had a couple of export issues where the file would be silent at the end. I worked around it by doing a realtime export after freezing a bunch of stuff.

I never had this issue with Cubase 4 so it could be a bug.

Also I've started to have some lock-ups and crashes occasionally here and there. Mostly when my projects get heavy though, overall it's not too bad. I'm still looking forward to an update though in hopes that this will stop completely.

Only time will tell...           ~Airyck~

Of course, probably even more stable than on PC.

Anyone upgraded to C5 yet? I'm still deciding whether to upgrade from C4 now or wait a bit.

I upgraded. Outside of a few minor bugs, it's much better than C4. The bugs I've run into: When you add a new track, C5 doesn't increment the color. If you work on a project, then save the project, then go to close the project after saving, it prompts you to save again.

Other than those two minor glitches, it's been rock solid for me on a PC.

Due to the nature of my laptop only being able to run Vista, I decided to try the Windows 7 beta on it. Cubase 5 runs fantastic on it; it runs so well that I've switched out my desktop for my laptop for the time being.

On my desktop (xp) I was getting bad glitches, export errors, and various crashes to the point it was really frustrating.

With my laptop and Windows 7, I can finally get back to work on some music and stop fiddling with my system...hope it keeps up.           ~Airyck~

It runs fine here, but the CPU spikes much more easy than it did before. Also i find scrolling almost impossible, way too much lagging. Hoping to see an nice update soon.           myspace.com/auralinvasion

Works good here..especialy like it to set the colour of the arrangement a little darker..

but two things bugging me right now..everytime i open a project the mixer positions are resetet..so like i use my macbook for mixer view and my other monitor for arrangement and i always have to drag the 3 mixers on the left side..wasn`t a problem in C4 but cannot find the solution yet...

second..i cannot scrol left and right while pressing the mousewheel..thats something i was really used to..hmm

can anyone help me out?

For the side scrolling i always used ctrl+scroll wheel, and it seems to work fine still.           myspace.com/auralinvasion

True, i just don't want to be a beta tester for steinberg for free!

Do let us know how you get along with it, i might get it too based on your feedback!

lol yes it feel like a beta ,but some say it s the most stable cubase .0 , i would stick on 4.52 for now except if you really need the new features.
