i bought cubase 4 last year when i was studying political sciences ^^. Doesn't really matter...
WTF ! 200 euros for the upgrade ! fuck.

Nope it doesn't matter what you're studying. I was studying hospitality & tourism when i got my educational copy of C4. All i did was show them proof that i was a student at a university.

It seems its getting released end of this month
You can pre-order now for £173.08 on
the steinberg site, not sure how much it will be elsewhere

so around 600€ for the Fullversion / 299€ for EDU and 20€ for grace Period Update..

Cant find anywhere in the UK selling or pre selling the Cubase 4 to 5 upgrade yet, plenty of Studio upgrades none for the complete APP.

In the US at least it doesn't matter what you are studying. Most software companies in all fields work like that.

I`m not sure if the Cubase Sx3 files will work on Cubase 5. I can open them with Cubase 4 but they aren`t working. |

At least Ableton is more compatible with earlier versions,this sucks about cubase. |
