Cubase export audio question ????help

hi guys, just a simple question, when i want to export my sound(S) from midi to wave in cubase, i see something that get my attention,, some options i want to ask u ~
on the window of export audio there,s an option
***audio engine output***
___sample rate( 11,16,32,44,48,64 ect)
___bit depth (8,16,24,32)
and then
_mono export real-time export
split channels _update display
**************************
So , i just export with all by default, but want to check, what's the deal with this options, speciality on sample rate and bit depth!!

open project/project setup and use the same settings as there...
But it's easier in long terms to create a group track and audio track and then route it like: Vst out -> group in -> group out -> audio in

I like to split the channels. That way I can see if there is any need for a stereo file. |

Why do you export at 32-bit float if its been processed, wont it just be converted to 24-bit if thats what the project is set at, or vise versa? |

In Cubase, 32-bit audio files (and 24-bit audio files!) are played back and mixed at 32-bit resolution, and only truncated after the master fader. The raw output of most VSTis is at 24-bit, so if there are no plugins on the sound, there is nothing to be gained from exporting at a higher bit-rate. Once a sound has been processed, especially with plugins that affect the gain (eg. EQ, compression), exporting at 32-bit will preserve the highest-possible S/N ratio.
