Cubase crashes after awhile using Antares Filter

I've found that Cubase crashes when I try to open ANY effect, if I've used Antares Filter anywhere on the project...it will be okay for about 10 minutes and then when I click on the little 'e' on the Cubase channels, everything explodes...anyone else come across this?

what verison of cubase are u using?
