hey guys,
i was working with a song that was becoming heavy with cpu processing.. duddently i can not open the project anymore.. it starts loading then when the last instrument is supose to be loaded then cubase gets closed. I hv backups of this song and still can open it, but this new version with 2 new vst instruments loaded (junatik from reaktor) do not load.. it get closed.. is there any way i could save that? Maybe if i try oppening the project in a better computer (meaning more cpu performance, RAM, etc...) ?

I think it's not because of CPU overload, if you didn't turned off windows swap file  . At first remove reaktor5.dll from the vstplugins folder temporary (if you shure that exactly reaktor causes your trouble) and run your project file. It will be loaded without reaktor in vsti rack. Then put reaktor again to vst rack. Btw, if you have Reaktor 5.12 installed (exactly if 5.12 !) - try to reinstall it. The last 5.12 version is buggy, and sometimes it crashes - reinstall helps. If it's not reaktor's blame - try to remove other vsti's DLL's from the vstplugins folder temporary and run your project without it. |
