Got a strange problem here using SX3. When bouncing down a track the new clip block that's created has a small tail that goes beyond the timeline I indicated.
It's a very small tail and you need to zoom in in order to see it.
Could this be my soundcard?
I admit I haven't got a uber soundcard, only a SBlive! Value running KX latest version.
Any ideas why something like this would happen?

Feck...so I'm not the only one aye?
What is that...a Cubase bug???
That sounds very unlikely as Steinberg surely would have fixed it....

I think that it's not a block of the new clip. Btw, do you mean midi-track's clip or audio-track's clip ? Did you have any insert/send effects on tracks that are bounced ? May be these effetcs provides tails/releases, and when you bounce it - there appears the click when audio gets interrupted ? I'm sure that it's not a bug. IMHO all is ok, as it should be, and the problem is that you need to understand the proccess why this click or something appears - that the reason why the default tail's time is 10 seconds whan you freeze VSTi or an audio track - the reason is: the preventing audio interruption.
If I've understood your problem incorrectly, than, please, upload the small peace of your project with at least one problematic part - and we'll see: is it a bug, or is it the problem of your bad understanding of the audio procceses... IMHO you do something wrong, and it's not a bug |

On audio or on midi(vst) tracks ? Even with no any plugins (not only delays reverbs) on insert/send ? Because if there will be even any IIR EQ in insert - it's already possible that the clip/click may occur in the end. Because even EQ can "spread" the sound in time. As the result - the "cut" audio interruption may occur in the end of part if it gets mixdowned from marker to marker. And it's better DO NOT mixdwon anything from marker to marker, and leave some silence (or insert empty silence clip, and mixdown it too) before the end-marker. That's not a bug. |

And don't forget that Cubase has very nice and complicated automatic plugin delay's compensation system. This may affect on this case too. So insert the empty clip/part in the end and mixdown your "range" with this empty part/silence included, and all will be ok. |

This seems to also happen without any plugs insertred (or sent) into the channel.
Have a look at the following screen capture here:
http://img215.imageshack.us/my.php?image=imageei7.jpg
This shows Cubase @max zoom after bouncing down an audio track.
The project file can be downloaded here:

Really strange stuff this...

yep...it's 3.1.1
Elad, you're right, it's easily fixed just by alligning the blocks every time you bounce but still it would be interesting to find out why this problem is happening and weather it's a steinberg bug, a H2O one, or something else...

Auralviolence, the same thing happens with 'Delete Overlaps' turned on. I just tried it and still the exported track block has a tail

id say makus is more close to the answer
the main problem is to make the loop obviously
overlapping shouldnt be there from the first place
now zero cross point might be good reason for that to happen
tho i will always say its bug cause i remember perfectly clear its not happening in other versions , surprise enough is i use 3.1.1 also
snip it is the only way i come to answer www.sattelbattle.com
