When I edit automation-tracks in cubase sx 2 the knobs of the automated plugins go weird sometimes.
An example: I use an automation-track to automate the filter-cutoff of a plugin. Now I edit the track while the song plays and the filter knob starts to jump around like crazy. As if it gets two informations at the same time and repeatedly jumps forth and back between this values very fast. It sounds awful. It doesn't help to stop the track and start it again at another position - but after some time - when I leave it alone for a while - it gets normal again.
Do you know this too? Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

i start the automation a little before and put if back to the postion you want - this way i give cubase time to "get it quirks out" with the automation... and i dont have any problems.
try like 1 bar before.

its a known bug in cubase.
it happens if a dot(s) selected in the automation channel or sometimes if the channel itself selected or one of the automation parts/channel of the audio channel.
just stop playing , select other channel and it will be ok.
